Social Security Cost of Living Increase of 2.5%
Question: Did you get the same adjustment in your Social Security?

I received a letter from the Social Security Commission today telling me I will get a cost of living increase in my monthly payments of 2.5%.
My mind drifted to ... eggs.
Then later as I ruminated over this blessing, I thought, "I live in West Michigan, an area known for voting Republican. Does the amount of the cost of living depend on what people might thing I pay for stuff? Do alterations of that amount change as you go from place to place in America?
Does who I vote for have any influence on the amount of money I've earned being dribbled back to me from the years of work I've already put in? "
My eggs cost more. Do your eggs cost more?
If "America" starts selling parts of The Wall at scrap prices, what would stop my government from seeing my cost of living would be less than people in areas known for voting for a group of criminals who would sell wall parts for scrap?
I feel President Trump will do all he can to right the ship, but right now, I'm thinking I have to decide if I'm going to buy eggs or more lube for my used food chute. After four years of Crimefamilynomics, I'm feeling kind of raw.
By the way, my increase will amount to $24
