registration scandal — and what she left out.

🗳️ The vendor's account — Idemia is telling reporters the
data was always correct and always available to the state.
At no point was a noncitizen marked as a citizen in their
database. So who made the decision to register them?
📊 The 35,152 gap — DHS identified 35,152 noncitizens on
NJ voter rolls. Sherrill disclosed 6,600. The gap of nearly
29,000 has never been explained.
💸 The $20 million legal fund — the same budget that cut
senior property tax relief and left school districts
underfunded found $20 million in taxpayer-funded legal
defense for the noncitizens caught up in the scandal.
