This is rhetoric that gets people jailed, or worse in today’s psycho left-wing climate, killed!
Cathy Woolard is publicly misrepresenting the actions and intentions of Julie Adams, and her statements now cross into defamatory territory.
In recent remarks, Woolard falsely claimed that Julie Adams and another board member sought to “remove election materials and take them home” prior to certification, implying misconduct, improper intent, and potential legal violations.
That is NOT what occurred.
Julie Adams requested lawful access to public election records for inspection, which Georgia law explicitly allows. At no time did she request to improperly remove records, conceal documents, or violate chain-of-custody requirements.
By publicly framing lawful oversight and records inspection as an attempt to “take election materials home,” Woolard is:
• Misrepresenting official board proceedings
• Falsely imputing improper intent
• Damaging Julie Adams’ reputation
• Creating a misleading public narrative
• Undermining lawful election oversight
This is not a matter of opinion — it is a material misstatement of fact.
Such false statements meet the legal standards for defamation and libel, particularly given Woolard’s public role, platform, and political affiliations.
This false narrative must be formally corrected and retracted.
Public confidence in elections depends on truth, transparency, and lawful oversight — not political spin or character attacks.
Julie Adams acted within the law, within her authority, and in the public interest.
Cathy Woolard should immediately issue a public retraction and correction.
