California is fighting voter ID while the federal government is uncovering dead voters on the rolls.
The U.S. Department of Justice reviewed tens of millions of voter records nationwide and identified 260,000 deceased individuals still registered to vote, along with thousands of non-citizens on voter rolls in multiple states. At the same time, California was sued twice by the DOJ for refusing to share its voter registration data.
In Los Angeles County alone, a Judicial Watch lawsuit forced election officials to send address confirmation notices to 1.6 million inactive voters. In San Joaquin County, an elected official pled no contest to 14 felony counts related to registering ineligible voters. These are court records, not theories.
