Arizona currently as of Jan-2026, there are over 47,000 individuals registered to vote, who have only promised that they are a U.S. Citizen, without proof. These individuals are identified as Federal Only (FO).
In the 2020 General Election FO registered voters was over 30,500 while over 10,500 of them voted in that election. In Maricopa County (represents over 61% of registered voters in 2020), over 8,100 individuals voted, of the over 17,500 individuals registered, while turnout in certain precincts were 100%, with some precincts having turnout of 130% of these Federal Only voters. Across Arizona, the average turnout of Federal Only was just above 38% of that category.
