One of the defendants involved in a shocking jury bribery scheme has now been sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison after prosecutors revealed how he helped attempt to corrupt the justice system.
According to federal prosecutors, Abdul Karim Farah played a key role in a plot to bribe a juror during the Feeding Our Future trial. Investigators say Farah conducted surveillance on the juror, mapped out where the juror parked, and helped deliver a bag full of cash in an effort to influence the verdict. The bribery attempt was uncovered during the trial and immediately triggered a major federal investigation.
